Larry Bair Excavating is a third generation excavating and site utility company located in the greater Kansas City Metro area. The Bair Company was founded in 1970 by Floyd Bair and focused on concrete and swimming pools. His oldest son Larry Bair started a Commercial Excavation Division during that time. In 1988, the company's name changed to Larry Bair Excavating.

Currently, Larry Bair, president and Shane Bair, Vice President manage the company. Shane manages a skilled team to provide quality service for all of our customers. We are very proud that many of our employees have been with us since the beginning.

We have diversified since the start of the company from performing sitework to adding utility work as well. General Contractors appreciate and count on us to do the complete job (sitework and utilities). We can handle any size job in a fast, efficient and safe manner. Safety is stressed on each and every project we do along with performance and client satisfaction.

We are continually working to stay on top with the best technology, equipment and man power. We have GPS systems on our equipment taking out the old fashion guess work and we are continually updating our equipment.
